concentrates predominantly on the grounding philosophy of working truthfully for each individual dancer. To understand and value ones own corporal capacity and then applying this knowledge to enhance movement efficiency and diversity. I aim to explore and enhance how ballet technique education can develop the versatility and creativity needed in today’s eclectic dance environment. I believe (and consistently practice) in implementing modern dance concepts and historical movement methods in ballet and contemporary technique training as a tool to enhance perception of the body, movement mechanics and versatility.
